Chef Kellyann Kozel grew up in Crystal Lake and has dreamed about opening a bakery since she was young. She received her bachelors degree in Restaurant Management at DePaul University and certificates in pastry and cake at The French Pastry School. After working for several years at bakeries in Chicago, she returned to her hometown to make her childhood dream a reality. Kellyann and her brother Charles are the co-owners of Cheshire Cakes.
